In DOS2:DE the switch inventory and drop method didn't work. The Swornbreaker went right threw the deck of the Lady Vengeance and was lost. Instead, after switching to a character out of dialogue with Almira, I took the SB out of the inventory of the character in dialogue with Almira, went below decks and placed it in the Storage Chest.

Yea I had Swornbreaker. I even tried equiping it to try and trigger something. I think there might be a problem with a trigger at the previous segment with dreamers, because she straight up assumes that my party murdered them, or there is just no way to help her without Red Prince, which seems silly, afterall I was able to help dwarves without having Beast in my party, this should be similar.

I can confirm that the "drop cheat" works with both Wendigo and Almira. I missed part of the first swornbreaker, so I only had the one from act 4. I talked to W and dropped it right before clicking on "Admit that you ..." - she broke her oath and disappeared. The quest was closed. Then I waypointed to the ship and did the same thing with Almira. Any undead PC or Fane can become sworn. Sworn gives 2 attribute points, 2 combat points, 2 talent points and replaces Bless with Curse. You can give Almira a broken (already used) Swornbreaker to complete her quest tho, same goes for Windego and Sadha (if you choose so) so if you need it for your character (s) as well you can use them beforehand.
